Overview
We are looking for friendly, passionate, and enthusiastic team players to join our Visitor Experience team. The team play an invaluable role in providing a proactive welcome, excellent customer service and engagement with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
We have several fixed-term contracts available between November 2025 – July 2026. This is a regular 7hrs/week position working every Saturday from 12:30-20:15.
Job scope
Visitor Experience Assistants work in all visitor-facing spaces around the museum, including the exhibition galleries, managing entrances, monitoring behaviour, and engaging with exhibition visitors; selling tickets and membership; helping to host museum events and facilitating engagement activity in the galleries or learning spaces.

Essential – Skills, Knowledge And Experience
Salary: £14/hour + £1.69 holiday pay
Holidays: 25 days per annum pro-rata + Christmas eve (museum closed)
Contract: Several fixed-term contracts available between November 2025 – July 2026.
Hours: 12:30-20:15 every Saturday
Location: This role is based on site at the museum.
Closing date: Sunday 26 October, midnight
Interviews: Wednesday 05 November onwards
